Not a positive start to 2010 – bought a new printer (Canon MP 270, I think) the usual impenetrable installation manual and a wholly unhelpful installation disc.
Basically, the message was that the printer is not supported by Snow Leopard…. Cue red mist.
Of course, it turned out that there was not an issue at all, but not before I had had to consider returning said printer to Amazon (more red mist), ferreting around the Canon site (singularly unhelpful) and finally getting lucid ecouragement and positive information from a Mac user group posting.
