Making Sense of the Hard Work That Goes Into Internet Marketing

by James Gladwin on January 28, 2010

A year ago we were all mesmerised by the achivements of Chesley Schullenberger who saved 150 lives when he landed his jet in the Hudson River.

His typically modest statement?

“For 42 years,” he said, “I’ve been making small, regular deposits in this bank of experience, education and training. On January 15 the balance was sufficient to make a very large withdrawal.”

There are times when things go wrong – projects fail, products crash, systems burn, cash runs out – cash doesn’t even appear!

But the point, it seems to me is this: every apparent set-back is a “small, regular, deposit” in life’s bank. And the time will come when you’re able to make that large withdrawal in the form of paychecks that accrue from when it all comes right.

My best to you – James
