Webinars (web based presentations or seminars) are the fastest growing information channels on the internet. But they are also pitfalls for the unwary. Here are ten perfect webinar tips you must follow.

Perfect Webinar Tip 1: Get the time right! It seems that 7,8, or 9pm Eastern time is popular with many, but don't be too geo-centric. What about people in Europe? 9pm your time could be two or three in the early hours! How about scheduling an extra 2.00pm Eastern time on occasion?

Perfect Webinar Tip 2: Give information about yourself that conveys why YOU are the person participants should sign up to. Stress you expertise, your experience, and your skills. And explain why you are excited about the webinar. After all, if you aren't, why should they be?

Perfect Webinar Tip 3: Give clear objectives. So many webinars are waffly. You need to be different. Be very clear and identify what you want people to learn or be better at doing. The clearer you can stress the problems and the solutions you're offering, the more likely you'll have a great take up.

Perfect Webinar Tip 4: Support. Do you want to provide material for participants post-webinar? If so – factor that into your preparation. Are you going to record it for download later? Or market it later?

Perfect Webinar Tip 5: Practice. This is all too easily overlooked. Webinar leadership is a skill of its own. Looking at the camera. Being at ease. Managing your nerves. Controlling you voice. (I have a tendency to look extremely stern and unsmiling, by the way!) Get objective advice from a friend. Better still, find someone who works in media to advise. You'll get some great pointers.

Perfect Webinar Tip 6: Registration stroking. Set up your autoresponder to send a welcome message to each participant as they register. And another the day before the webinar. A third on the dayof registration. And a final call an hour or so before you go online. Make your messages warm and welcoming. (Getting this right reduces drop out hugely.)

Perfect Webinar Tip 7: Timeline. Work out your timeline extremely carefully. I find that I need to schedule more material than I expect initially. Practice out loud. Remember that you'll likely talk faster online. Map your timeline on an A-Board and haveit just right or left of camera, at eye level. Keep to it!

Perfect Webinar Tip 8: Generate a list of provocative questions to ask particpants. Don't rely on people responding to you when you ask, "Has an anyone got any questions? Never does silence come over so wretchedly!

Perfect Webinar Tip 9: Summary. Make sure your key points are whiteboarded off camera so you can quickly refer to them if time is running out. Remember that you'll be adrenalin high, but will flag towards the end of the webinar, so make it easy for yourself.

Perfect Webinar Tip 10: Face Your Fears. Be honest about what's scary about this. Looking stupid? Drying up? Stammering? Losing your way? Turn to a friend and work it out. I always go through stuff with my younger brother. He's an outstanding coach and provides moral support, defusing humor, and perspective. You need that too.

So there you are. A checklist of ten tips to make sure your webinar is the best yet. Good luck!

My best to you.

I love product reviews. They're useful, informative and often point me towards the buying decision that's right for me. Apparently 70% of online shoppers seek out a product review before they buy. (Haven't you checked out reader comments on Amazon?) But, you know, they vary in quality enormously. So I got thinking - what makes a blisteringly good product review?

This informative article shares five tips that will help you next time you write a product review.

First – really spell out in detail who this product is for. Give a good buyer's description. If it is software, is it for beginners, intermediates, or experts? If it's a product – say a kitchen appliance – do you need to be a gourmet cook to get the most out of it? Try to give your views on who the ideal buyer would be.

Second – describe the product in real detail, warts and all. People want to know exactly what's in the box, so include everything – dimensions, weight, accompanying instructions, guarantees, delivery details. If something wasn't quite right for you, say so.

Third – always provide a picture of the product. Better still, upload a video. The latter is extremely powerful – remember those YouTube videos of the first iPhones being taken out of the box? A buyer can relate immediately to it. And you could record yourself using the product, showing what it does, good and bad.

Fourth – don't be scared of being blunt if you feel there is a shortcoming. You're much more credible if you are honest; if there isn't anything negative in your product review, people will smell a rat. (Of course, if you are really ecstatic about it, that will come over as well.) And if there are rumours of a negative in the market place (weak signal on a smartphone, for instance, and you find the opposite, you can turn the negative into a positive comment.)

Fifth - next steps. Don't leave the reader or view hanging on in mid-air. Be sure to tell them where they can buy the product. Give the download URL, the contact number or the address of the product manufacturer. Give the price, shipping details and any rebate coupons that may be available. Tell them where they can find more reviews, if they want them.

If you enjoy writing product reviews you could find that you have an income generating opportunity. After you have written ten or twenty, you can build a web 2.0 site (i.e. a website with pages that are really interactive) and drive traffic to it. But your reviews will need to be punchy, authoritative, and useful – so follow these five tips! My best to you.

Are you like me when you decide which articles you're going to read online? I scan down the screen quickly and then choose. Or Not. You see, no matter how good the content of an article, if the title isn't working hard to get my attention, I just won't read it. And I suspect you are the same.

So here are five tips on generating the best possible title for your article.

First – "How To". Now, don't groan. I know that this isn't new. But there is absolutely no doubt at all that How To articles are enormously popular. I know, because I check my article stats so I can tell exactly which of my articles get viewed, and which do not. "How To Find The Perfect Retirement Home For Your Mom" – did you notice something? Not only was it a "How To" title, but I also placed a benefit in the title. Or, "How To Win The State Lottery – Without Losing Your Shirt" is another example.

But wait – did you know that there's a hidden "How To" article title. And this is it. You use numbers as part of your title. In other words, "15 Ways To Find Vital Information About Your Credit Rating" or "32 Suggestions To Make Your Date A Sizzling Success". You see?

Second – Use alliteration. Take another look at that last headline: "32 Suggestions To Make Your Date A Sizzling Success". You can't miss the similar sounding words, can you? We remember lines with similar sounding phrases. Here's another example: "29 Success Secrets For the New Secretary".

Third – Subtitles. Yep – learn from TV and foreign films. In other words, complete your main title with a subtitle, for example: "How To Sell Successfully Using The Telephone – Tips and techniques that really work." Or, "Your Perfect Mind – How to manifest your abundant future."

Fourth – Develop a brand. What I mean is this. If you have an idea for a series of articles that develop a particular idea, why not create a "brand" which will help increase your article titles' memorability and recognition. A good example of this in the bricks-and-mortar world would be the Dummies series of how-to books.

For example, if you have a series of articles that explain to readers how to do different things efficiently, you could create a series of "Super Quick Guide" titles.

Finally, use your reader! This is an incredibly powerful article title technique because it tell the potential reader exactly who the article is aimed at. So "The Dog Lover's Guide to…" or "The Busy Cook's BBQ Tips" or "The Music Lovers Guide To Online Opera" all filter the reader so that they are pre-qualified.

So you see, with a little thought you can make certain that your article title does not let you down. If you get it right, you can really improve your click through rate.

My best to you.

You've heard of the seven deadly sins, haven't you? C'mon – I'll give you a hint – greed, adultery, lust. Ah, you remember now? OK, well, they're called deadly because they're considered dead serious. And there are seven deadly sins that web marketers make which are deadly because if you make then, you're in dead trouble. Here they are.

Sin 1: Failing To Understand Your Customer. I've seen too many casualties. Disappointment. Broken dreams. Back to the day job. And the reason? The web entrepreneur never took the time to really work out who he was selling to, or who his product was for. It sounds so obvious, but that sin is commited every day.

Sin 2: Selling Products Not Solutions. Closely allied to the previous sin above. I still come across web pages that stress features without selling the benefits. Why? What's going on? This isn't business school stuff, you know.

Sin 3: Not Being Personally Accountable. Also known as passing the buck. I experienced this a year back with someone's new product launch. It was fiasco. There had clearly been minimal, or no, pre-launch testing. It didn't do the job. But was there any explanation? Oh no. We got belligerent emails along the lines that Microsoft products needed patches etc etc. The hot shot whose photograph was all over the sales pages hid behind some unfortunate mis-called customer care noodle.

Sin 4: Selling, Not Helping. You've got to position yourself as a resource, not a mindless cannon firing sales shells into our customers back yard. I'm sick and tired of the yammer-yammer emails that come day in, day out, with subject lines like "You have received a payment. Check you account." Baloney. Delete.

Sin 5: Wasting Your Customer's Time. Be very clear who your products is for. If you don't, you're going to have endless refund requests, reversals from PayPal, frozen accounts and bad mouthing all over the forums. It just isn't worth it.

Sin 6: Being Inaccessible When Needed. Make certain that you get back to customers quickly if there's a problem. Don't give them the run around. Believe in customer care. Take it seriously.

Sin 7: You Talk Too Much. The sales page. On and on and on. I'm not talking length, necessarily, I'm talking content: hype, fluff, hyperbole. Just say what it does, how it's going to help, and what it's going to cost. OK, you can expand a tad on those three topics, but that's it. No fake testimonials. No false promises.

It's common sense, really, isn't it?

My best to you.

I've done it. You've done it. Everyone's done it. Uh? Started a project and then given up. There are hundreds of examples I can point to – language courses? I must have three sets of Italian courses around the apartment. Unfinished novels? More scripts than Shakespeare in different word processors. And when it comes to my web business? Not a month went by when I started that I didn't embark on some new, riches-to-zillions venture.

So what's going on? Why do we always start projects, full of enthusiasm, and then give up and abandon it?

Everything changed for me when I understood the four levels of learning and applied it to my web business.

Level 1 Learning: This is when you're excited and full of enthusiasm – "I'm going to make millions on the web!" I'm at Level when when I realise that something might, just might, be possible for me. I don't know if I can do it, but the possibility is there, and it really excites me. There's that tingle factor: "Wow – an internet marketing business. Bring it on!"

Level 2 learning: Level 2 is what actually happens! This is when you fall off your bike, so to speak. This is where you realise that there is a gap between what you want to do, and what you actually achieve. Although you could imagine yourself riding your bike like your elder siblings, the reality is very different. And falling off hurts!

And your web business? Well, the first week was great. Well. Almost great. But, somehow, the commitment evaporated. Photoshop turned out to be far more complex than you thought. Let's leave HTML to the geeks.

But wait – Level 2 learning is a really important experience. Nearly all our start/stop experiences can be linked to this. Because it's at this stage of learning that we learned an incredibly important lesson.

We learned this. We learned to give up.

That's right. Giving up is not something that just happens. Giving up is something we al learn to do.

But, of course, in web marketing we don't give up. Oh now. We say, "The market isn't ready for this" or "I made a commercial decision." Oh yeah?

Level 3 learning. But we don't always give up. We did learn to ride the bike. Level 3 is when "things come together". Your auto pulls away from the curb without embarrassing jolts. The cake comes out of the oven looking like a cake should look. Your web page looks almost professional!

You still have to think hard about what you're doing though. Article writing is a chore. There's no fluidity.

It's time to find out about

Level 4 learning: This is when being takes over from doing. It's a level of mastery because you have chosen to stick with it.

So marketing success won't just happen with a click of the fingers. Nor will your PayPal account be dollar rich just by "thinking" about it. But all you need to do is to start – and not give up when you start wobbling. Start finishing instead.

Have you seen pictures of amazing vaults that require three keys to unlock them? Well, our inner self is like one of those vaults, holding incredible riches and potential. But you need three keys to unlock them. Here they are:

First: A Belief In Acting With Integrity

There is a Zen proverb, “When you walk, walk. When you sit, sit. Whatever you do, don’t wobble.” Integrity is like that. When you speak with integrity, you won’t lie, you won’t prevaricate, you won’t say one thing and mean another. If you say “X” the person listening wi; know deep down that “X” will happen.

Integrity isn’t something that you’re born with, or not. Integrity is something we have to learn, and decide to use everyday of our lives. Abraham Lincoln said, “Whatever you are, be a good one.” Whatever you do, wherever you are, you integrity will attract the best in others, and will bring out the best in you. Integrity works to allow you to lead a life that makes a difference, and that is a gift to others.

Two: A Belief In Loving Tenderly

In the end, this is probably the only thing that matters. There are miles of bookshelves about love, but probably every one of know from day to day when we love, and when we don’t. Does it happen naturally? Not really. We have to renew each day in love, and keep on doing it. Does it get easier? Maybe. But we can choose every day to make our lives a place where love goes to work.

When we love tenderly, we learn to understand other people’s situation when the let us down; when they say hurtful words, when they no longer seem to share the values that matter to us.

When we love tenderly, we learn to let go of cherished opinions so as to open ourselves ot other possibilities that may, at first, seem alien to us.

When we love tenderly, we don’t cling to certainties and fixed positions. We allow a measure of humility to influence our self-perception. Maybe – just maybe –we aren’t right all the time!

Three: A Belief In Personal Transformation

Ghandi said that individuals needed to become the change they wanted to see in the world. So often we expect others to change, and are slower toaccept that probably our need to chance is greater!

We all know that at a physical level our bodies are continually changing; cells divide and multiply, tissue breaks down and renews, and every seven years out entire body is different to that which was before. The challenge is for our mental and spiritual faculties to keep up!

We need to nurture our belief in personal transformation with supportive practices. Read books that develop you self-awareness; listen to CDs and downloads; take part in seminars that offer genuine insight; bookmark web pages that are helpful.

Become extremely tolerant and forgiving of others, and remain true to your own values and standards.

The fact is, you can live your future now. At any one moment you can choose to fully live your life now, not live a half life dominated by the past, or a half-life waiting in life’s bus station for a coach that’s been cancelled!

You really do have the vision, resources, talent and wisdom to live the life you love.

Why wait any longer?

OK – so you've read that article writing is the road to internet riches. Well, it certainly is for many – and it could be for you as well, But notice the phrase "article writing" and I emphasize "writing". Writing is the key that could unlock the door to your financial independence. All well and good, that is, if you can write methodically and regularly on your chosen niche.

But what happens when the well of creativity runs dry? How do you get ideas for article writing?

This informative article provides six techniques and habits that I, and many others, have found work and which have give me ideas for articles, and writing them. These nuggets aren't in order of important, but each one is proven and effective.

First, always make sure that you have a small notebook so you can jot ideas down when they come to you. I have found that the last place I get ideas is in front of my word processor.

And, I'll let you into a secret – I don't carry a notebook and pen! I use the note function on my mobile phone. This may not work if you have a hone that's a year or two old, but if you have a recent one that also has a camera, you're made. If you don't have time to tap out a word or phrase that you'll recognize later, take a quick photo that will link you to the place where you had the idea It will come back to you, I promise.

Second, get outdoors and take some exercise. Walk around the block, go for a run, visit the gym. Get writing out of your mind and let your body take the strain. You'll be surprised at the ideas that well up.

Next, change the place where you write. If you write at home, or in an office, consider going somewhere else to write. Try your local library or maybe a café. The change of surroundings will often go a long way to unblocking the creative juices and getting you ideas for article writing again.

Fourth, take a break. Watch TV or – better still – take in a movie. I find a movie is more freeing-up than television because of the greater facility for getting caught up in the drama. For those two hours I'm completely absorbed. Escapism is fine, because when you return you'll be refreshed and you'll find the article writing comes far easier.

Fifth, use a template. Uh? Well, a template is like a blueprint, or a mold. An example of an article template that I like is "The ABC of -" And you write a brief opening paragraph, and then each subsequent paragraph begins something like, "A is for – " and so on. If you complete all twenty-six paragraphs using each letter of the alphabet you will probably have enough material for at least three articles!

Finally, relax! I know, I know – your blood pressure is already rising when you hear the word "relax" but tension does not aid creativity. I once entered a competition to write so many articles in such and such a period of time. I found myself slipping behind and missing my self-imposed targets. I was moaning about this to a friend who said, "Relax – you'll do it." She was right – I did, and I did.

And you will too! Try out one or two of these ideas for article writing and you'll be surprised at the results.

My best to you.

One internet marketing challenge that lots of people face daily is how to find a profitable niche?

Everyone says that niche building is THE way to make money online, but where do you start? To achieve the best results, what exactly must you do?

So here are 5 non-nonsense, proven strategies for finding your internet market niche that I have practiced and find highly effective.

1. Move away from the internet marketing niche!

I know, it is completely counter intuitive: "You're crazy – internet marketing is where the gold is!". Just why is this important? Simply this – type "internet marketing" into Google and check out the number of pages devoted to online business building, online marketing and all the variants.

Done that?

Exactly. There are millions and millions and millions of them. To be brutal, if you are starting out, you just don't stand a chance of success in this arena unless you have a really new take. If not, it will be a hard field to plough, with very little hope of return.

So what happens if you follow this tip? You will feel paralysed, at first, because you will feel that there is nothing left to go for. Let me give you an example – when I started my online marketing business, I focused on – you've guessed – online marketing. I wrote info products, I generated blogs and web pages, I contributed to forums and – I got nowhere. Sure, I made one or two sales but they nowhere near covered the time and cost that I and invested.

2. But then someone told me to drop that, and find a niche that was far less competitive.. That's very important because when there is less competition you have a far greater chance of success. And also because when you identify a niche that carries a real need, you KNOW that the market is there.

3. So, how do I find a niche? Simple – go to your junk email folder. The principal reason behind this is that junk email is an evil of our times; it overloads the web, it takes up bandwidth and saps resources.

But junk mail is also a real indicator of what people are interested in. It's also a very good idea because you are not having to do any research – others are doing it for you. Check out your junk mail folder and you will find niche after niche after niche: arthritis, depression, how to chose a RV, how to lose weight, how to run a guesthouse, how to breed chickens, and on and on.

4. Learn from these guys. Don't think for one moment that I am endorsing junk mail in any shape or form, but if you are really stuck for niche ideas, take a look at the trash folder.

And just why is this a good idea? Because you are looking at niches that are "hot" – and I am not taking about the dubious medical emails. I've just glanced at what my mail software filtered for me. "Top Loans", "Cholesterol", "Cell phones", "Bad credit", "Language learning" – the niches are endless.

You don't need to spent time or money on niche research software or endless internet searches.

Is there another reason? Yes – look carefully at the sales copy. Most people admit that writing sales copy is one thing they find hardest to do. But there is sale copy gold in unwanted emails. Don't copy or plagiarise (it's unlikely you will want to do that!) but notice how the benefits of a product or service is stressed and highlighted. Notice the way that the reader's emotions are hooked. You will learn how to write pitch perfect copy..

5. Make a pledge to dominate your niche. And just why is this important? Because once you are seen as an expert, you will be seen to be speaking with authority. Your articles and blogs will carry weight. You emails will be read with interest. And – most important of all – your product or service will be bought!

So, look, give this a try. The online business sector is expanding exponentially – you deserve to be part of it.
My best to you.

If I say "P L R" to you, are you immediately wired in? Yep, I'm
talking about Private Label Rights.

Well, I was talking to Anthony Tilley a few days ago (a savvy
internet marketeer) and he told me he had just written a 39 page

the link will be up for.

** There are no resale rights**

Anyhow – I just think that this could be of value to someone.

My best to you – James
